What is your take on HBO's "John Adams"?


It took a few liberties (as detailed in Wikipedia) but by and large I felt it was a pretty realistic account and was 90% loyal to McCullough's book.

I wish HBO / Playtone had moved forward with production on "1776", which would also be based on McCullough's book. They have the rights for it, but for whatever reason never moved forward on the project.
